Based in Chiddingstone, Thomas & Wards Roofing serves Sevenoaks, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, East Grinstead and the surrounding Kent and Sussex villages. I specialise in small roof repairs, overhauls, heritage tile and slate roofing projects, and traditional lead-work, as well as cement works and rainwater systems.

After completing my roofing apprenticeship in the 1990s, I spent several years with the same company before establishing my own roofing business in 2002. I ran it with my team until 2017, when I stepped back to care for our young children and support my wife’s business. Today, I enjoy working independently, keeping overheads low and giving each job my personal attention. For projects that need extra hands, I work alongside a close-knit circle of trusted fellow craftsmen.

I take pride in doing a job properly, combining honest advice with careful workmanship and attention to detail. Whether it’s a small repair, a new project or work on a period roof, you can expect the same care and commitment.

Work is agreed in advance with a fixed-price quotation, so you know what to expect before work begins.
